Anyone making unsupported, ridiculous claims should be relentlessly mocked.

The purpose of this blog is to make light of Ron Weinland using his own unfulfilled prophecies. Much has been documented about Ron's previous prophecies and can be found at the fine sites linked to this page. We're going to deal with Ron's current ramblings.

Ron may say ‘those weren't prophecies!’ I beg to differ: The Two Witnesses' divinely given mandate IS to prophesy - not to speculate, not to guess, but prophesy and there is a difference. Ron says 'God speaks to him in his mind.' O.K., there shouldn't be any reception problems then.

As the self-proclaimed spokesman for The Two Witnesses, the other is his wife, Laura (I know - I laughed, too.), Ron is doubly responsible to prophesy and to do so with clarity, accuracy and power.

Ron himself has given the criteria for judging whether or not he is a prophet - so we'll use it. Ron's Proof of a Prophet from his book 2008 God's Final Witness and the FAQ on his website:

"As the events written in the book 2008 God's Final Witness unfold, the world will increasingly become aware of the authenticity of the words in the book and realize that Ronald Weinland has been sent by God as His end-time prophet."

As the bible requires, we will judge Ron by the accuracy of his prophecies. We will follow Ron's prophetic sermons starting 12/20/08 with Witness Ending - Pt. 1.

Ron has a tendency to wander taking two hours to say what could be said in 30 minutes or less. So I will pick out the interesting stuff and send the rest to the recyle bin. There is a difference between educated guessing and prophecy. Being vague and ambiguous is not prophesying - it's more akin to fortune telling and palm reading. Prophecies are specific. Hundreds of specific prophecies heralded Jesus, his ministry, and his death and they were given by many different prophets over a long time period. God gives clear, specific and accurate prophecies telling the end from the beginning. Does Ron? We'll see....
