Weinland Revisionism

A Prophet’s Log (Flush)
Our Journey of Faith Pt. 3 (Summary)
Countdown: 922 Days
Remaining Sabbaths: 132
Fulfilled Prophecies: 0

Weinland revisionism has begun. Ron now claims that he IS an apostle. Is Ron laying the groundwork for backing out of prophet hood? I don’t think so. I think he is merely claiming another title because he can. Ron's expiration date approaches.

Tick Tock.

Your time runs short, Ron Weinland. Judgment day is coming.

RW's sermons are more and more generic and typical of a WCG sermon in the past. I know, I gave thousands....He seems to be just wanting to get the church out of the "let's not think about how wrong I have been...let's just have sermons again."

Ron tends to tell the church what they believe. "We all think this," "We all know," "We all realize."

Does anyone out there in the audience say, "Don't think for me!"

How many people are actually with the COG-PKG.

Enough to keep Ron Weinland's world traveling lifestyle funded.

Mike estimated around 300.

Based on what little information we've managed to get out from the inside, we're assuming the PKG has held steady around 350 members, with approximately fifty new recruits joining, then quickly leaving, at any given time.

About a hundred or so from other groups used to keep the Feast with them, but as I haven't been involved much with Timeline Two being proven as false, I don't know if they managed to gather any outsiders, for their truncated Feast this year. (Who in their right minds would want to attend half of a Feast in the first place?? Never mind the fact that there's NO Tribulation underway to begin with, "Great" or otherwise.)

This number was current as of February 2008, and I wouldn't believe a word of Weinland's lies about "thousands" being recruited since then. At the height of the first timeline (before he was proven to be an insane lying false prophet by his own words), PKG managed to suck in a couple hundred of "the scattered church" and those recruited by the Google ads, but all reports indicate those recruited from "the world" didn't stay with the group after the first set of prophecies failed.

Assumptions are good that PKG is holding steady around three hundred and fifty to five hundred members globally. Compared to the eleven thousand members of UCG and the twenty thousand of WCG/GCI, PKG is barely a spit in the bucket.

I hate to say it, but I tend to believe the Insane Liar when it comes to increased numbers. The size was about 300 at the Feast of Tabernacles of 2007, but his Google ad campaign has attracted some on the margin. I know of recruits who came in after the first timeline failed.

Amazing, I know. But think about it -- would there be spam if there weren't a few stupid enough to think that a pill would make their equipment bigger? Just the same, there are those willing to buy Ronnie as a prophet despite his consistent prophetic failures.

But 300-500 (or more?) is more than Ron needs. He has no overhead, no Church property, no ministries, no giving to the poor, no feeding the homeless, no clothing the cold, no contributions to go across the globe to help humanitarian aids, no reall staff to speak of dedicated to the church without any other job (did Wayne ever get re-imployed?), no real expenses.
So the money is still pretty good.

The only real expenses the church has is keeping Ron in his home/mansion and transporting him all over the world so that he may enjoy his Witness-hood. He has a web presence, live web sermans and a daughter to do the books. That's it...?

If I has some 400+ (150 families?) donating 10% of an mean average $40,000 to me that is 150 * $3,200 (after taxes...) = $480,000 a year and Ron can simply grab $200,000 off the top for his personal use, another $100,000 for business expenses, another $60,000 for travel, e-presence & staff considerations, another $60,000 for investment into post-profit-hood and $60,000 for taxing, lawyers, non-church financial advisors, corporate taxes, maintenance of propertie(s) or material(s), etc...

Not to shabby... I wonder what the givers life is like in comparison to Rons financial life?

I can see what's coming next.

In June 2012, Weinland proclaims Jesus HAS returned.......as Weinland.

Mike, I can somewhat corroborate your belief there. I don't know the exact count, but as of six months ago, my mother's 2-person group grew into a congregation. Back then, it was at least 15, counting small children. There must also be an ordained elder there too.

Pretty much all of the influx were 30-50 year olds who found PKG via Google ads and searches.

Come Thanksgiving, I'll try and weed out of information from her. I'll ask about the attrition rate, if any.

I know our QLD group started out at about 10,when I left in January there were only 2 left. But I am not sure about how many there are now.

"$480,000 a year"

Why would he ever want to give up that gig? Of course his wife Laura is just as culpable as she tells him what to do and even what to call himself to keep the money rolling in. Really. I mean *seriously* rolling in. Don't you think they get excited as they discover each check in their PO Box? Darn sure his wife is calling the shots on how it all gets orchestrated and divided up- after all she is the "second witness" LOL.

The Bible speaks of nothing but contempt for the Weinlands. They know it, but the increase in their bank accounts keeps them wanting the filthy lucre which is the tithe money from those gullible enough to fall for their hogwash of a religion.

"Why would he ever want to give up that gig?"

He wont.
He does not have to work for it, he chooses to travel with it, finance his books with it, pay his children with it, pay off his house with it, buy cars with it...

But, IMO, he likes being the "king", the top mortal, the chosen of God, leader of the the One True Church. Ron loves all the perks and the pride. But at the same time he keeps missing every prediction and this must be a personal wound upon his ego. Oh his sheep keep it under wraps but still Ron wants to be the star of the megolamania big tent he set up. He wants, IMO, to be right and he can't do it. He wants to be able to predict the future, predict the great calamaties, unveil the trumpts, be respected by the masses in awe of him.
That is what he does not have, but in his boerdom he thinks "Hey, I'll be a Apostle" making up new titles and whiling away the days... It wears on ya. Oh it seems good with all the money and toys, but he does not get what he really wants, respect and notariety! He wants to be famous and beyond reproach.
In the mean time he'll keep taking from the poor and giving to himself all in the name of a delusion he thought up.
