Ronald Weinland: Adds to the Bible

A Prophet’s Log (Flush)
Our Journey of Faith Pt. 7 (Summary)
Countdown: 894 Days
Remaining Sabbaths: 128
Fulfilled Prophecies: 0

Bloomington, IL this week.

894 days left and Ron is feeling the heat.

Prophecy is God’s responsibility. If God changes prophecy after he gives it to Ron, it is not evidence that Ron is a false prophet! If Ron prophesies are wrong, take it up with God. The 50th Untruth is like a scab Ron can’t stop picking at.

God establishes doctrine in church through apostles not prophets. Good thing Ron adopted the title apostle a couple weeks ago, after initially denying it because...

Ron is going to give new doctrine that can’t be found in the Old Testament or in the New Testament.

BOOM! Ron is going to add to the bible! He’ll now be a bible writer too! (This is too good!) Ron expects some defections. (Heh-heh-heh)

He has to keep changing his story to attempt to maintain some credibility.
Hopefully, this won’t be anti-climatic.

I’ll keep Dill Weed, Jr. up by occasionally pulling his tail. (Hee-Hee)

Tick Tock.

Your time runs short, Ron Weinland. Judgment day is coming.

i can't believe he still has followers....he is basically saying "my words don't fit with scripture. so, i have to make my own scripture to make my words fit."
what is that scripture in revelations that states "no word should be added to or taken away from"

This sounds like the old folks tale about slowly boiling a frog to death.

Bit by bit, Weinland is changing things. Since it's gradual, the sheep don't really notice. As long as they're reminded they know "the truth" while the rest of humanity is inferior to them, there's nothing to make them question their beliefs or their leader.

Ron is the kind of student who comes home with a giant F on his report card.

He then takes out a red pen and changes the F to an A.

Miraculously, his parents buy it every time.

Ron may not be "adding" to the Bible, in contravention of Revelation. He may indeed be writing his own holy book in parallel to the Bible(s) like Joseph Smith did. It can be hard to write scripture into a book already complete as ones new scripture can easily come into conflict with old scripture. But if you write your own scripture totaly independant of said book then there is no contradictions... that is until you write enough of it that ones own written scripture comes into conflict with what one wrote previously.
No matter how you slice it, it looks like "fun on the bun" for ol Ron and us as well, this should be a real riot! :-)

Judging by Ronnie's past performance, it won't take him long to get tripped up in contradictions. He's told so many stories that he's forgotten what he said. Unfortunately, so have his followers.

Now that is Ron's "Blessed of God and Leader of the Faith" alter-ego running that part of the show/con. Why would a con man do something that would loose money givers? That goes against the Con-Man-Code of ethics. But Ron is not only a Con man, he's a delusinal man who "NEEDS" that ego-injection, that "I am a Apostle by Cracky!" ego-push that makes him feel good and happy. It's a drug and Ron is a junky. It mess's up his Con-Man plans for retirement with the Mrs's but that's Ron IMO, a man against himself.

Whisper,

Ego - definitely, but also the need to avoid getting exposed in the eyes of current believers who are awaiting The End at a specified time.

I can hardly wait!
