The Ronald Weinland Shuffle

A Prophet’s Log (Flush)
Truths Following Repentance Pt. 2 (Summary)
Countdown: 270 Days
Remaining Sabbaths: 34
Fulfilled Prophecies: 0
Ron’s Death Toll: 0

False prophet and Spokesman Witness Ronald Weinland spoke from the Netherlands this Sabbath starting his European vacation early. He continued his *yawn* review of the Truths.

Ron managed to deliver his standard – an achingly boring sermon. Ugh. Things should get interesting as we near the 50th Truth. It will be amusing to heat Ron confirm it only to have events a few short months later prove it and him wrong again.

A few new sheep have been added to the flock but, no stampede as yet. We are another week closer to Ron’s colossal failure as God’s End Time prophet. Whoo-hoo!

Cool video of the week

Tick Tock.

The Andrew G. slide rule correction for cats who can't subtract very well... 264 days and 38 Sabbaths remain.

Your time runs short, Ron Weinland. Judgment day is coming.

The 51st truth is that the previous 50 are all wrong

Thank you for the cool video of the week -- it was comforting to see an innocent Domestic Companion enjoying life. Sometimes it's nice to live a boring life.

There is a question which has puzzled me for a long time and maybe folks can answer for me -- I really don't understand and would like to know: Just why do people stay with Ronald Weinland?

This is a totally serious question. I suspect that if we can get a good handle on that, more damage can be done to his "ministry" and the "ministry" of the other ACoGs.

On an unrelated note, you may take note of the graphic ad for DNArefutesBI.com on The Journal website.

Ex-member Kirrily always says that it's pride. Pride that they know something the rest of us poor saps don't.

Dixon Cartright had Alan take down the graphic ad from The Journal website because "...your writing comes across as fanatical and maniacal as any of the COGs' wildest preachers and their exhortations. Your style of writing and accusing people of evil motives is not acceptable...."

I do think it is mainly do to pride - to admit you are wrong about something so serious, something that you have haughtily shoved down other people's throats about the 'iminent end' - believing you were doing it in love (yeah right).

They want to be RIGHT about this soooooo badly (as I once did).

The consequence of being wrong? God never called you, when you thought you knew what was coming, stores up food, told your loved ones, your work colleagues, gave all the money you could etc etc - only to ADMIT to yourself, that you believed a lie...... It's too hard for most of his followers..... and THAT is pride.

I admitted I had believed a lie. One of the hardest things I have done in my life. I was brought to nothing - down to my 'bare bones' - best thing that could have happened to me! Only after that experience, do I understand true humility. That's what happens when you are brought to nothing.

Kirrily XPKG,

Well, yes, I've sort of been through that too, except that everybody told me I was wrong for so long that when I discovered I was wrong, it was no great revelation. It is more humiliation that humility.

The good thing though is, I may not have the truth -- probably don't. But I CAN demonstrate that pretty much everyone else is wrong. They don't accept it, of course, but it's comforting to know they are liars and don't have truth, even if I don't either.

It's empowering.

Enough of this, let's get back to Ronald Weinland.

You all know the physical damage that's done to the brain when someone lies.

I'd give a lot to be able to read Ronald Weinland's CAT scan.
