Ronald Weinland Refuses to Use His God Given Witness Powers?

This started out as a comment on Mike's, Don't Drink The Flavor Aid. But, I got so 'stirred up' writing it, I thought I'd make a post out of it. So since, I'm the boss here, here it is.
I'd hate to see Weinland get more publicity because of being associated with the 2012 hysteria that is building, but it may happen. It wouldn't really show God's hand if it happened that way. BTW, there's a 2012 movie coming out that looks scary.
I'd rather see Ron boldly announcing God's judgment on the nations (not just reading jugdments out of the bible and repeating what I've heard a hundred times, if I've heard them once) and powerfully declaring that it will not rain in a specific location and perhaps a sprinkling of those Egyptian plagues, too. (just wishful thinking, but if you're reading, Ron... ) THAT would be a way to announce their Two Witness presence, huh? My prediction, ain't gonna happen, but I'm still gonna be watching.
As for Ron becoming so upset with the blasphemy he witnessed, I'm left wondering why God didn't use Ron then and there to magnify His Holy name. I mean Ron and Laura ARE the Two Witnesses of Revelation and we ARE 6 months into their ministry, right? (Maybe, Ron can answer...)
Imagine the witness that Ron, filled with the Holy Spirit and imbued with Two Witness Powers, could have given! Tucking tail and fleeing, well it just doesn't smack of a true prophet of God or of the Two Witnesses of Revelation for that matter, does it?
Perhaps, God's plan is to play this subtly though... allowing His Witnesses to continue their rather ho-hum ministry for a year or two into the End Time? Maybe, Ron could clue us in since God talks to him in his mind. I'm all ears.
It would be nice if God got specific with Ron or if Ron got a new hearing aid, a few fulfilled prophecies might get him more respect and media time. You'll need more accurate predictions than economists and weathermen make. You've got to be specific and right to get respect Ron and so far... not so good.
It was a disappointment to hear Ron say that he now believes that he won't get his Two Witness Powers until after the 5th Trumpet. Where's the fun in that?
I mean there is going to be a lot happening after the 5th Trumpet. It doesn't seem like a long time for the world to get to hate him and his wife so much that they would celebrate their deaths by giving gifts, does it?
Ah, well, but Ron reveals God's plan as God reveals them to him. So, we will just have to wait.
I'm OK with waiting and watching for the proof of a prophet.
I don't like that Ron is so vague with his prophecies, but maybe that will change as God continues to 'work with Ron'.
In any case, I'll be listening and reporting.
Thanks for reading as I chronicle Ronald Weinland's con.

Ronald Weinland: The Prophet Who Ran Away.

A Prophet’s Log (Flushing Sound)
Judgment Pt. 2 (Sermon Summary)
Countdown: 1062 Days
Remaining Sabbaths: 152
Fulfilled Prophecies: 0

Los Angles this week. Ron reminisces. Hawaiian vacation next week! (Whoo-Hoo!) Detroit traffic… Blah, blah, blah, blah…. Florida weather…. Blah, blah, blah, blah….

Ron looks forward to ‘getting more respect’ as God’s prophet. Toronto was a glimpse of how it could be. (If, only) In this End Time, God did not empower Ron to respond to the ‘wickedness’ he encountered at idea City.

However, Ron, was able to FLEE and was still shaken up a week later.

Tick Tock.

For an End Time prophet, Ron sure doesn’t talk much about the End Time. Of course, Ron can’t ‘give it’ until God 'gives it' to him by speaking into his mind. The Silence of The Two Witnesses with respect to End Time happenings is deafening.

Ron seems to just be giving standard sermons occasionally dropping a comment about End Times stuff… like that he now believes he will not receive his Two Witness Powers until after the 5th Trumpet. (convienent, but buys only a little time.)

Ron has to keep coming up with explanations why he does not have Two Witness Powers and the clock – Tick Tock – keeps ticking. Yet, Ron has recommitted himself to the December 14, 2008 1st Trumpet beginning the final 3 ½ years. (God told him so. And so he prophesied.) How much longer will the 2nd Trumpet delay? A year, two years?

When will it dawn on Ron that he has prophesied falsely (again)? The closer May 2012 comes the shorter the time for the remaining Trumpets and the Seven Bowls. The half way point of Ron’s ministry is September 4, 2010. The proof of a prophet is that what he says happens.

What explanation or new revelation from God will Ron make up to move the timeline yet again? Maybe, he'll promise (again) to admit he is a false prophet and repent.

Blah, blah, blah, blah…. Blah, blah, blah, blah…. Blah, blah, blah, blah….

Ron refers to the fact that some bought things thinking they would not have to pay for them. But, now find themselves on the hook for it because Ron spoke presumptously and mistakenly as God's prophet. Which, of course, raises the question is Ron speaking presumptously again as God's prophet?

Here we go: You can't grow spiritually if you are not tithing.

Ronald Weinland: "Earthquakes Are Increasing." Really?

Ronald Weinland claims that earthquakes are increasing. He says that increasing earthquakes are one of the seven thunders of Revelation and that these thunders prove that he is God's End Time prophet. Let's look at this proof.

Are earthquakes increasing? I do not know. I hear about them on the TV. It seems like they might be increasing. There was the one that caused the tsunami and several in China both causing large number of deaths.

That doesn't mean that earthquakes are increasing though. So I checked with someone who does know: The US Geological Survey. They detect and measure earthquakes worldwide. The following information is from the USGS website.

FAQs - Common Myths about Earthquakes

Q: Why are we having so many earthquakes? Has earthquake activity been increasing? Does this mean a big one is going to hit? OR We haven't had any earthquakes in a long time; does this mean that the pressure is building up?

A: Although it may seem that we are having more earthquakes, earthquakes of magnitude 7.0 or greater have remained fairly constant throughout this century and, according to our records, have actually seemed to decrease in recent years.

There are several reasons for the perception that the number of earthquakes, in general, and particularly destructive earthquakes is increasing.

1) A partial explanation may lie in the fact that in the last twenty years, we have definitely had an increase in the number of earthquakes we have been able to locate each year. This is because of the tremendous increase in the number of seismograph stations in the world and the many improvements in global communications.

In 1931, there were about 350 stations operating in the world; today, there are more that 4,000 stations and the data now comes in rapidly from these stations by telex, computer and satellite. This increase in the number of stations and the more timely receipt of data has allowed us and other seismological centers to locate many small earthquakes which were undetected in earlier years, and we are able to locate earthquakes more rapidly.

The NEIC now locates about 12,000 to 14,000 earthquakes each year or approximately 50 per day. Also, because of the improvements in communications and the increased interest in natural disasters, the public now learns about more earthquakes. According to long-term records (since about 1900), we expect about 18 major earthquakes (7.0 - 7.9) and one great earthquake (8.0 or above) in any given year.

However, let's take a look at what has happened in the past 32 years, from 1969 through 2001, so far. Our records show that 1992, and 1995-1997 were the only years that we have reached or exceeded the long-term average number of major earthquakes since 1971. In 1970 and in 1971 we had 20 and 19 major earthquakes, respectively, but in other years the total was in many cases well below the 18 per year which we may expect based on the long-term average.

2) The population at risk is increasing. While the number of large earthquakes is fairly constant, population density in earthquake-prone areas is constantly increasing. In some countries, the new construction that comes with population growth has better earthquake resistance; but in many it does not. So we are now seeing increasing casualties from the same sized earthquakes.

3) Better global communication. Just a few decades ago, if several hundred people were killed by an earthquake in Indonesia or eastern China, for example, the media in the rest of the world would not know about it until several days, to weeks, later, long after such an event would be deemed “newsworthy”. So by the time this information was available, it would probably be relegated to the back pages of the newspaper, if at all. And the public Internet didn't even exist. We are now getting this information almost immediately.

4) Earthquake clustering and human psychology. While the average number of large earthquakes per year is fairly constant, earthquakes occur in clusters. This is predicted by various statistical models, and does not imply that earthquakes that are distant in location, but close in time, are causally related. But when such clusters occur, especially when they are widely reported in the media, they are noticed.

However, during the equally anomalous periods during which no destructive earthquakes occur, no one deems this as remarkable. A temporal increase in earthquake activity does not mean that a large earthquake is about to happen. Similarly, quiescence, or the lack of seismicity, does not mean a large earthquake is going to happen.

A temporary increase or decrease in the seismicity rate is usually just part of the natural variation in the seismicity. There is no way for us to know whether or not this time it will lead to a larger earthquake. Swarms of small events, especially in geothermal areas, are common, and moderate-large magnitude earthquakes will typically have an aftershock sequence that follows. All that is normal and expected earthquake activity.

The USGS has a wealth of information. I wanted to use some of their tables, but they can't be pasted in. It is a great resource and we paid for it.

Note: At the USGS website, you can see data that shows there has not been an increase in earthquake activity right up through today - just go to the FAQ.

Ronald Weinland Draws Laughter at Idea City

A Prophet’s Log (Flushing Sound)
Half A Time (Sermon Summary) Countdown: 1069 Days
Remaining Sabbaths: 153
Number of Fulfilled Prophecies: 0

Baptisms and ordinations…. Blah, blah, blah, blah…. We interrupt this series for an important announcement to be read by Ron. If I had known Ron was going to read his post, I might not have read it myself.

Ugh, the good, the bad, but no ugly? Oh, the ugly is Ron’s sermon.

Ron reflects on his experience at Idea City. Ron apparently needs an audience with a ‘meek spirit.’ He seems to be apologizing for his performance. He’s hedging an awful lot. Intellectuals are hard to deal with. They think for themselves and ask questions. Intellectuals really irk Ron. Ron marvels…. Blah, blah, blah, blah…. Ron marvels again.

Sermon filler… Blah, blah, blah, blah…. Blah, blah, blah, blah….

Ron was laughed at Idea City. He was laughed at by ‘prideful, haughty people.’ Yeah, right.

The church fast in January has caused God to rearrange events within the time frame of the last 3 ½ years. Ron asks, “How long can you wait for the 2nd Trumpet?” The real question is how long can the 2nd Trumpet delay and not put the lie to your prophecies?

There will be a special sermon given on The Last Great Day. *yawn*

An individual made comments questioning the validity of Ron’s book and the four gospels. This upset Ron. Ron pitches sighs and slaps the podium. Apparently, other speakers attacked the bible and Christ’s death. I guess during their presentations. Ron was so upset he had to leave.

Too bad he could not use Two Witness powers to straighten them out. Ron did you pray to God to give you power?

I hope some in his audience are asking themselves this question. Here we go: Ron says he would rather be under an outhouse when someone was using it. (Whatever.)

Trumpets 2 thru 4 could just be the after effects of nuclear weapons. Ron says the damage will be local, not worldwide - so the damage will be localized. The great star from heaven might just be... a nuclear explosion. According to Ron all the trumpets after number 2 could just be 'nuclear spinoff.'

Don't forget to pull Ron's finger to get a prophecy!

Ronald Weinland: Still Boxed In

Ron has a new post on his site regarding his experience at Idea City and “time, times, and half a time.” He is still boxed in by the 3 ½ year period he prophesied to have begun December 14, 2008.

We can be ever so thankful that the Second Trumpet has not yet sounded and that it may now be withheld even longer.

Might be withheld even longer? We are 6 months into the last 3 ½ years, you don’t have your Two Witness powers and have said you won’t get them until after the 5th Trumpet. Hmm.

God is beginning to give a clearer understanding of what He is doing concerning a “new” significance this expression has for this end-time. Due to the special fast held by God’s Church in January this year, some prophetic events have been shifted within the framework of the fulfillment of “time, times, and half a time.”

I would think that God would speak clearly to His End Time prophet as the time for 'mysteries' and 'waiting' is almost over, right? Is that unreasonable? 'Clearer understanding' and 'new significance' have got me thinking: Theocratic Weasel

Pull Ron's finger now for a personalized prophecy. Just one though!

You haven’t figured out how to free yourself from 3 ½ year timeline or have you? Will you attempt to change the meaning of a "time"?

This is the beginning of a new phase of recognition of God’s two witnesses (although it is only very slight at this time).

Spoken like a wishful B movie actor.

Rather than being treated with attitudes that can be challenging, confrontational, disbelieving, irreverent, and at times condescending, there indeed seems to be a shift beginning to take place in which the message (and messenger) are beginning to be treated with greater respect.

They’re Canadians for crying out loud. They’re always polite.

… where we are in a sequence of events that involve the Thunders and First Trumpet through which we are still living.

The First Trumpet is still sounding? I’d say we’re stuck in neutral.

Once God removed His sustaining power from the modern-day nations of Israel (and primarily the U.S.), those governments could no longer be recognized as having any legitimate rule.

The U.S. government, including the IRS, disagrees with you, not to mention reality.

A Guest Post From Ronald Weinland

It has come to my attention that some of you are taking more than one personalized prophecy from Dill Weed's blog.

Through an exclusive arrangement between Dill Weed and The Two Witnesses of Revelation, my wife and I, as part of our Two Witness and End Time Ministry, have agreed to air personalized prophecies to assorted non-believers and backslidden, non-tithers.

God has granted His Witnesses Control of the Wind, but it comes at a price. Taking more than one prophecy places a great deal of strain on us. Prophecying is not easy. It requires strenous effort to push through weighty spiritual matters, sometimes prophecies slip out easily, but most often not. Most don't come easy. They can be hard to catch, but once we get a whiff of one, Laura and I can make sense of it.

God gives, but we deliver.

We are very busy and can't spend all our time prophecying. Laura keeps the books, buys airline tickets and makes the best hotel accomodations. She also tracks down non-tithers and helps the brethren realize the importance of not skimping on their spiritual responsibilities. I have to prepare my sermons and take care of spiritual matters, too.

God is no respector of an 8 hour work day. He is constantly speaking into my mind about the time we are in and I look forward to telling you more of what He tells me. So, Hebrews and Shebrews, please take only one personalized prophecy per visit to Dill Weed's blog. He is keeping track.

Thank you.

Oh, and Dill Weed asked me to invite you to become a follower of his blog (on the side there). It doesn't cost anything so it won't interfere with your tithe. I recommend it, too. (I'm sure Laura would, also.) Becoming a follower of Dill Weed's blog is recommended by two witnesses out of The Two Witnesses of Revelation. That's 100% if you're keeping track. ; - )

Ronald Weinland’s New Revelation

A Prophet’s Log (Flushing Sound)
Judgment Pt. 1 (Sermon Summary)
Countdown: 1076 Days
Remaining Sabbaths: 154
Number of Fulfilled Prophecies: 0

Cincinnati this week, he was in London earlier. Ron jokes about not being able to use notes at Idea City – he’ll just go with what God ‘gives’ him. *yawn* (maybe he’ll breath fire.) He’s the first speaker - after that it should all be uphill. Special sermon next week regarding the ‘time’ we’re in. (Timeline change?) Blah, blah, blah, blah….

Some are sending in coins. Ron chides them for it and recommends money orders. (Perhaps, they should round up to the nearest dollar?) Blah, blah, blah, blah…. Blah, blah, blah, blah…. Blah, blah, blah, blah….

Half-way through and still no new prophecies and Ron admits to still being unknown by the world. That and he is nearing the half-way point of his ministry.

Ron believes ‘God is working with the spirit and minds of millions.’ (Well, He’s working with a time limit and THAT’s according to His prophet, Ron.) Blah, blah, blah, blah….

Ron’s working on his sermon for “The Last Great Day.” (I bet it will suck like the rest of his sermons.) Seals… Trumpets…. Blah, blah, blah, blah…. Ron gets dumbfounded. Blah, blah, blah, blah…. Ron refers to some who have been getting in contact with parts of our government…. Blah, blah, blah, blah…. Ron says he is protected by God and that if he wasn’t he wouldn’t live very long.

Here we go! “Most things concerning the Two Witnesses won’t begin to happen until after the 5th Trumpet. The primary things, in the sense of proof, won’t begin to happen until after the 5th Trumpet.(LOL)

Ron has backed the goal posts up again! Of course, "Everything that’s been happening is God’s will." RED ALERT: Ron is setting something up here.

Oh, yeah, and lo, “Our minds can’t even come close to grasping it!” (I think I’ve got a pretty good handle on it, Ron. You are a fraud and a false prophet whose time is rapidly ticking away.)

Judgment: Ron continues the sideshow shuffle because his claims keep NOT materializing leaving him looking like the false prophet he is.

Verily, verily I say unto you, Ronald Weinland:

Tick Tock.

Your time runs short, Ron Weinland. Judgment day is coming.

I Traded Ronald Weinland’s Books for an Old Banana Peel.

A Prophet’s Log (Flushing Sound)
Weightier Matters of the Law (Sermon Summary)
Countdown: 1083 Days
Remaining Sabbaths: 155
Number of Fulfilled Prophecies: 0

From the UK this week, have false prophecies will travel. Will Ron prophecy or use his Two Witness powers? Ron comments on how he ‘rushed trough previous sermons, but now it’s different because he can make it as many parts as he wants.’ How about taking questions? I can think of a few I’d like to ask.

Ron jokes that in a few weeks he will ‘drive to Hawaii.’ This is met with dead silence, by an audience who can’t afford to go to Hawaii. Don’t forget to send in your registration form for The Feast of *yawn* Tabernacles.

Sabbath this, Sabbath that…. Blah, blah, blah, blah…. Here we go! Drum roll….. The Weightier Matters of the Law is…. tithing! (LOL) Too funny! Tithes must have dipped. (Snicker, snicker…. Mmm snickers)

Some have developed ‘teacheritis’ wanting to share with others things they have learned. Ron reminds his listeners ‘that they know nothing.’ Of course, understanding comes through Ron.

Ron says that he believes that nothing should be hidden from the church. How about church finances or your Two Witness powers? Blah, blah, blah, blah…. Blah, blah, blah, blah….

Another sermon devoid of prophecy….

Tick Tock. Your time runs short, Ron Weinland.
